The Chat tab has two sections: Active and Archived.
Archiving
Archiving tidies a finished conversation out of your Active list.
- In the Chat tab, open the options on a conversation (long-press or the options button).
- Choose Archive.
Note: archiving moves the conversation to Archived for both people, and messaging is paused until someone unarchives it.
Unarchiving
Open the Archived tab, open the conversation, and choose Unarchive. Messaging is re-enabled for both people.
Deleting
Members can't permanently delete a conversation — only an instructor can. If you want a conversation removed entirely, ask the instructor, or archive it and/or block the person.
Empty states
If you have no conversations yet, the Chat tab suggests messaging a teacher from their profile or an exercise page.
